Blue screen while installing audio driver

The soundcard works fine, it's just that getting the Realtek drivers to appear in device manager is a problem and doing any kind of update/enabling them instantly causes a blue screen. If I can get them to appear again and follow your steps I'll let you know how it goes. At this point it just seems random.  · I was installing drivers on my new pc i just got done building. It took Microsoft long enough, but they've finally (FINALLY!) changed the blue sc. There's nothing worse. You're deep in thought, working on a really important document, when suddenly the screen turns blue, a cryptic error message is displayed and your PC reboots, losing everything. Isn't Windows just great? TechRadar is. Kindle users who charge or sync with a Windows 10 PC over USB shouldn't give up hope, but instead take a moment before plugging in that cable.
